Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or furniture or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher. Any damage done will be made good by the one who
causes it.

The school is not responsible for the loss of any goods. Expensive gadgets like I-pod, MP3 players, smart watches and Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. In case of violation of this rule the gadgets will be confiscated and not returned to the student. The school bears no responsibility for gadgets lost in school.

Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet the teachers when they meet them. Bullying and using foul language is not allowed.

Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the class room without prior permission of the Principal.

Once the student enters the school premise they cannot leave without the explicit written permission of the principal or coordinator, in case they violate this rule, strict disciplinary action will be taken.

Out station trips should be strictly avoided on school working days and no permission will be granted to leave school to board a flight/train/bus etc.

Late comers, children who do not come in proper school uniform will be sent home. In this case parents will be asked to come to school to collect their children.

Students are not allowed to bring any weapons of sharp instruments such as blades, knives, paper scalpels, scissors etc., to school.

Bringing money to school is not allowed.

Celebrating festivals with crackers and colours in school or in school bus is prohibited.

Every student is required to contribute towards the cleanliness and maintenance of his/her class room.

Cost of damage for the school property will have to be made good by his/her parents.

Students will be held personally responsible for their actions on all school devices and networks.

Students will receive a personal username and password after their guardians have accepted the terms of use. The safe handling and keeping of these is the responsibility of every user.

Using or attempting to use another person’s login information is prohibited because it is not respectful and is a violation of that person’s privacy.

Saving large personal files should be avoided. The Jain Heritage School will not assume responsibility for any lost files, media, messages, or attachments.

Creating, sharing, sending or saving inappropriate, disturbing, indecent, offensive or threatening material is prohibited, and so is attempting to do this.

Personal messages or material created by another person may not be shared without his or her permission. Doing so violates that person’s privacy and the secrecy of communications. Any such incidents must be reported immediately to a teacher and/or the user concerned.
